Rainbow Lake was structured and inspired around Caño Cristales,also known as rivers of five colour different pools of mineral water flow through this channel,along the stream its riverbed grows a special aquatic plants called Macarenia clavígera which decorates the river with red colour while other colours were made up from other elements such as green algae,yellow sand,black rock,and crystal clear blue water due to lack of small particles.
