- The name 'Rhallus' originated from Bogotá rail(Rallus semiplumbeus),one of many species of wetland birds with long-billed rails and slender legs living closely and locally within Colombia marshes.[photo credits-Sources]
- Rhallus' fight, where the party is encouraged to not hit Rysa as she is kept hostage, is an homage to the fight against Adel in Final Fantasy VIII, where the player is similarly encouraged to not target Rinoa to prevent a game over.
